The Battle of the Birds on MNF
Orb Faithful,
Happy Monday! It's a rainy Monday morning here in Boston, and it is the perfect time to give out some prop bets for tonight's beak-to-beak battle. I may or may not incorporate as many bird puns into this one; we'll see. Before going into the game, this time of the year is always when I reflect on 2023 and relive some of our greatest moments. If you have been with us from the start, you have officially entered a class of ride-or-die folk. At the beginning of this season, our first newsletter went out to roughly 60 people. We are now closing in on 500 subscribers, and the Orb Faithful has rapidly expanded.
Every Orb season consists of 18 weeks and covers 272 total games, providing a minimum of 324 Picks. That's wild to me, and often, I find myself thinking that we're not doing enough. How can we give more to our community? Well, we have a BIG surprise coming down the pipeline to not only give back and say thank you but also close off the season on a tremendous high note.
As the season wraps up, I want to encourage you, yes, YOU reading this, to join us as a paid subscriber. For $5 a month, you get access to the entire slate of Orbs picks, and more than that, you allow for a two-man army to continue to fund this project to its fullest extent. We would greatly appreciate the support and want to make every season moving forward more valuable, more entertaining, and more profitable for our NFL community. Now, back to MNF:
The Philadelphia Eagles are on the road in Seattle. There are a lot of question marks on who will be starting at quarterback tonight. I have never understood why teams aren't forced to decide at least 24 hours before if a player will be active. It makes our job a lot harder to give out informed picks based on data if starting QBs are ruled out just minutes before kickoff. Be sure to see who the Orb likes tonight despite the question marks at QB here. I won't spoil the fun, but I will add to it; here's who I like tonight via totals, player receptions, and to find the endzone at any time.
It's forecasted to be a cold, potentially rainy night in Seattle. Andy Unders has entered the chat. I'm taking the Under and for A.J. Brown to drop some slippery balls 😏. Also, I like DK to find the end zone because this Philly defense has been awful. Let's see if we can catch a big ol' fish at +808.
